The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a stone cold gaming classic, a legend from the Nintendo 64 that remains as powerful and captivating today as it did when it was first released 18 years ago. Chances are, you've played it, either on its original release or through one of its ports to GameCube or 3DS. But have you played it using the very instrument that's central to its time-travelling premise?
Twitch streamer MonotoneTim has, apparently modifying an actual ocarina to control the game. Hooked up to an emulated version of the game, Hero Link runs, jumps, and swings his sword at the toot of the instrument, and even menu navigation appears to work -- albeit appearing extremely fiddly.
