The race to build the Hyperloop – the tube-based high-speed transport system originally proposed by Elon Musk back in 2013 – just got more interesting.
Hyperloop Technologies, one of two Los Angeles-based companies competing to build a working version of Musk's design, has announced $80million in series B funding and a series of high-profile partnerships ahead of the first public demonstration of its propulsion system in Nevada tomorrow.
