As the adage goes, find a job you love and you won't have to work a day in your life. Laszlo Bock, Google's senior vice-president of people operations, goes one better -- improve the workplace you're in so that going to work is an enjoyable experience. His book Work Rules! outlines how he and his team turned Google into one of the happiest places to work. "Because of our profit margins, people think only Google can do this, but it's really not true," he says. Any business, big or small, local or international, can make these changes.
